Amid stage six rolling blackouts courtesy of Eskom, Tito has needed to cope with less-than-fresh produce and common intervals throughout his cooking.

All of it started when Tito Mboweni revealed his plans to “prepare dinner up a storm” on Friday night.
Two hours later, the previous Reserve Bank Governor shared a pic of his meal prep: a tray filled with suspicious-looking meat items, in addition to herbs, spices, and greens.
He tweeted: “We’re good to go. Subsequent steps are important.”
