Financial Freedom Fighters (EFF) Secretary Basic Marshal Dlamini says he’s assured that his social gathering will likely be taking management of the Lichtenburg-based Ditsobotla Local Municipality in the North West.
Dlamini and his deputy, Poppy Mailola, had been main their party’s election campaign trail within the municipal area.
The beleaguered municipality will likely be internet hosting by-elections scheduled for subsequent month.
The by-elections are because of the dissolution of the municipal council two months in the past. The council was dysfunctional and unable to execute its constitutional obligations, one thing that impacted negatively on service supply.
Throughout his door-to-door marketing campaign, Dlamini was daring to say they are going to be victorious.
“We’re assured and what provides us confidence is that the folks of this municipality themselves they’ve come to just accept that the issue will not be the people, the issue is the organisation. So, they’ve taken a choice that the organisation referred to as the ANC won’t ever run this municipality and the one various is the EFF. You’ll be able to see a few of them have left the ANC. We’re optimistic we all know we’re going to do nicely, that is the place we’re going to ship the primary mayor of the EFF, we’ve received little question about that.”

Dlamini says they’ve already registered all their candidates in all of the 20 wards they are going to be contesting.
“We’re contesting all of the 20 wards and we are able to inform you now that we’re the one organisation as issues stand, that our candidates have been registered. So, the problem of deadline, we’re very environment friendly in relation to working the organisation. Our candidates, all of them, they’re registered with the IEC now. We’re going to be placing up their posters. We’re on the bottom.”
