Elton John carried out his ultimate North American live performance of his farewell tour on Sunday, with a star-studded present on the Los Angeles Dodger Stadium.
The “Tiny Dancer” and “Rocket Man” hitmaker performed three exhibits on the stadium over the previous couple of days, marking a return to the venue the place he famously carried out wearing a sequined baseball uniform in 1975 on the top of his fame.
On Sunday, he wore a gown model of that Dodger uniform.
The three-hour “Elton John Reside: Farewell from Dodger Stadium” live performance, which was streamed on Disney+, noticed the 75-year-old Grammy and Oscar winner belt out hits together with “Bennie and the Jets”, “I’m Nonetheless Standing” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Highway”.
Singers Dua Lipa, Kiki Dee and Brandi Carlile joined him on stage for duets “Chilly Coronary heart”, “Don’t Go Breaking My Coronary heart” and “Don’t Let the Solar Go Down on Me”.
Different friends included singers Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger and Joni Mitchell, John’s longtime collaborator and lyricist Bernie Taupin and actor Taron Egerton, who portrayed the singer in 2019 movie “Rocketman”.
John has carried out 183 exhibits throughout the US and Canada as a part of the “Farewell Yellow Brick Highway” tour which started in September 2018.
He heads to Australia in January for its subsequent leg.
